I have been a Diana Award holder for six months after I was nominated for the anti-bullying work I had carried out in my local community.

I use dance to spread different interpretations of bullying. Since being given the award I have been on tour around all the schools in my county spreading the message that together, as a society, we can overcome bullying.

I'm also a Young Anti-Bullying Alliance (YABA) member and I sit on its executive board, representing the South West of England. My work with YABA involves working closely with the local community and young people as well as the government.

The board had a meeting with Gordon Brown and Ed Balls, which took place at 10 Downing Street, and we discussed how a £3m injection into anti-bullying schemes in England would be best used.
