My number one mission would be to create awareness and enthusiasm in students to get involved with Young Anti-Bullying Alliance (YABA) and to help get their voices heard. No one individual can ever understand everyone's experience of bullying but together we can try to prevent it. Bullying is not going to disappear overnight: it needs long-term solutions rather than quick fixes, and who better to fix it than the young people.
I am fairly new to YABA, as many people are. However, I have loved every minute and I hope to continue for as long as I am needed. I think it is important to set up a network between communities to communicate what action is needed to help prevent bullying in schools and, hopefully in the future, bullying in the community.
