- Sue Owen has been made director of wellbeing at the NationalChildren's Bureau (NCB). Owen has worked for NCB since 1995, mostrecently as director of the early childhood unit. Before that she workedat Humberside and Manchester councils, the National ChildmindingAssociation and Save the Children.
- Children's charity The Children's Trust has recruited Anna Borrini ashead of events. Borrini was previously head of corporate fundraising atthe Princess Royal Trust for Carers. Her role will involve overseeingvarious events, including the fundraising initiative National DoughnutWeek.
- Shaun Bailey has been appointed to sit on the Conservative Party'stask force on social mobility. Bailey, who is the Conservativeparliamentary candidate for Hammersmith, also runs MyGeneration, acharity helping disadvantaged young people.
