The Department for Employment and Learning in Northern Ireland has elected Alderman Arnold Hatch as chair of the Southern Regional College governing body. Hatch was on the governing body of Upper Bann Institute until it merged with Armagh College and Newry & Kilkeel Institute to form the new college.
Fairbridge Teesside has appointed Wayne Mason as its manager. Mason was in the army for 22 years, reaching the rank of warrant officer. The youth charity has also recruited Mark Bradbury as operations manager and Andy Preston as local committee chairman.
