The Matrix Standard
Where you might hear it: From anyone who works for an organisation that delivers information, guidance or advice on learning and employment.
What does it mean: The Matrix Standard is a national quality standard available to a range of organisations including further education colleges, community learning providers, careers advisory services and trade unions. It provides a clear system by which organisations that successfully deliver information, guidance and advice services can be verified and accredited. The assessment for the standard is based on eight different criteria, which focus on service delivery and management.
How to use it: Find out if any organisations in your area have been accredited with the Matrix Standard.
