What does it mean: Rebound therapy is the phrase used to describe therapeutic trampolining for people with special needs. It involves the use of supervised trampolining sessions to help participants experience increased movement, balance or sensory integration. Rebound therapy is suitable for anyone with mild to severe physical disabilities or mild to profound and multiple learning disabilities, including dual sensory impairment and autistic spectrum disorders. Rebound therapy trainers are accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
