Issue: Driving lessons

The situation: CAT is a team of young people in or leaving care helping Hampshire County Council (HCC) fulfil its corporate parenting responsibility for looked-after young people. Together HCC and CAT have written the "Passport to Success", outlining 10 areas that need to be addressed. One issue was the need for affordable driving lessons. Most care-leavers were unable to afford these and felt disadvantaged in not being able to drive.
