Organisation Hampshire County Council (HCC), Care Action Team (CAT) Issue Support for young people in or leaving care within higher education

The situation CAT is a team of young people in or leaving care helping HCC fulfil its corporate parenting responsibility for looked-after young people. One of 10 areas outlined in the "Passport to Success", written by HCC and Cat, was the need for greater support for young people in or leaving care within higher education. As well as financial support, those in care need emotional and practical support.
