Issue Improving emotional wellbeing and anti-bullying
The situation Children and young people representing primary and secondary schools on "Youth on Health" groups identified a need to explore how they could improve emotional wellbeing and address bullying in schools. They explored the topic through creative media and came up with proposals to take back to their schools.
What children and young people said
"We met teachers to ask for peer mediators ... we made posters to recruit the mediators and advertise the scheme in our school." "We used a map of the school to find out where people feel less safe ... we designed a worksheet about keeping the environment safe."
