3% of looked-after children were from a minority ethnic group at 31 March 2004 (two per cent in Scotland)
29% of looked-after children had three or more placements at 31 March 2004 (30 per cent in Scotland)
24% of looked-after children in residential care at 31 March 2004 (13 per cent in Scotland)
A spokeswoman for East Dunbartonshire Council said: "We are pleased there has been an increase in the number of looked-after children achieving standard grades. We are committed to ensuring every young person has access to education that will help them achieve their potential."
