- 22% of looked-after children had a disability at 31 March 2004 (17 per cent in Scotland)
- 0% of looked-after children had three or more placements at 31 March 2004 (30 per cent in Scotland)
- 22% of looked-after children in residential care at 31 March 2004 (13 per cent in Scotland)
A spokesman for Inverclyde Council said: "We are committed to trying to minimise the disruption in a child or young person's life when they become accommodated and strive to provide placements that can respond appropriately to difficult or challenging behaviour."
