- 7% of looked-after children had a disability at 31 March 2004 (17 per cent in Scotland)
- 22% of looked-after children had three or more placements at 31 March 2004 (30 per cent in Scotland)
- 8% of looked-after children in residential care at 31 March 2004 (13 per cent in Scotland)
A spokeswoman said: "Angus council constantly monitors and improves practice to ensure that looked-after children are not subject to significant disruption at times when they are particularly vulnerable. We value the role that foster carers play in promoting a secure family experience.
New approaches have allowed us to ensure continuous improvement to services for looked-after children."
