Siantelle (pictured right): Being adopted is sometimes difficult, as you know that your adopted parents are not your real parents.

Sometimes my mum and dad can be over-protective, but I know they only want the best for me. We get on well.

The best thing about being adopted is realising that you are in the best place and you have a future ahead of you. I do get my ups and downs but I love being adopted, as I know I will be loved forever.

Charlene (pictured left): I don't like the thought of being adopted as it makes me sad that my adoptive parents aren't my real parents. But I think of my adoptive parents as "real" and my birth parents as surrogate.
