The DCSF wishes to recruit children and young people from different backgrounds and across the nine government regions. Applicants do not need to have taken part in similar projects, just enthusiasm and an interest in working as part of a team to influence decisions that affect children.
NCB has been commissioned to co-ordinate the new two-year board. An application pack is available from www.ncb.org.uk/cyb. The application deadline is 10am on 29 June.
