The Northern Ireland Office has launched a public consultation document on measures to tackle anti-social behaviour. The document takes as its starting point the operation of anti-social behaviour orders and acceptable behaviour contracts in England and Wales and their effectiveness. The document considers the position in Northern Ireland and makes a number of proposals. The deadline for responses is 1 April.
The Department for Education and Skills has launched a consultation document to gather views on draft child protection guidance. The guidance has been developed to help local education authorities, statutory and voluntary organisations work together.
It aims to highlight the outcomes all should be working to achieve, clarify the roles and responsibilities of organisations and individuals, and provide examples of good practice. The deadline for responses is 2 April.
