I've been dancing for about 12 years. My sister was going so my mum sent me too. I started really enjoying it when I was nine.
I don't know why I prefer ballet to tap dance. It just comes naturally.
I love doing competitions. It makes you more confident.
At the Gladys Thorpe Memorial Award there was a one-hour ballet class where we were taught sequences and jumps and leaps. There were four judges.
My dance teacher had choreographed dances to show them. It was okay but the floor was quite slippery.
I go to the Royal Ballet School in London on a Saturday to the upper school to do bar and centre work. On Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays I do three hours practice, but it's not all ballet.
