My life: Peter Sheppard, 13, Shropshire

I've been in care for a couple of months. It's been nice and I like it. That's why I'm staying there 'til Christmas. I like the house and the staff. There's loads of things to do.

I play football out in the garden or practise because there's a club on Saturday. I like football because it's a good thing to play and gives you exercise. I support Man United because I like all the players. My football hero is David Beckham because how he scores goals is quite magic.

I like all school but my best lesson is science where you get to make stuff like a glue gun, trains, stuff like that, then you get to show your parents what you've made.

I like Titanic because I like how it's made. I would have just jumped off. I might have made it but it's just the middle thing - you might survive and you might not survive. The worst thing would have been dying in the sea because it's cold.
