My Life: Siobhan, 9, Surrey

1 min read
I want to be a barrister when I grow up because I love arguing. I like it because I like to talk. That's why I'm doing this. Talking in a loud voice is my speciality. My friends don't mind because they argue back so it doesn't matter. I don't argue with teachers though because that's a very naughty thing to do.

We have debating lessons. My favourite debate was if schools should close earlier because I won it. But I think schools shouldn't close earlier.

I'm thinking about our education. We won't get into university. University is important because then you have a better adult life. You get a good job and get to go on holiday whenever you want.

I would want to be a defence barrister because you can choose the cases you want to do. I was born in east London and I have no brothers and sisters but you get all the attention. Any time I get lonely I call up my friends.
