My life: Daniel Dicker, 14, Shropshire

I've been in care since before I was even one. I've been to 12 different homes within one year but now I've been in the one home for 12 years so that's not too bad.

The one thing I don't like about being in care is that you have all different meetings with social workers coming to the house. It's the one thing that really gets on your nerves because you get one every six weeks, every six months and sometimes out of nowhere.

There are good things about it like when you go on trips to different places. During the holidays we went to Alton Towers. We went to a place where we did archery and quad-biking.

I'm starting my GCSEs. I'm really into art and music. I play the drums and I've formed a band. Hopefully I'll get into a real one.
