My Life: Sebastian Shaw, 16, London

The biggest buzz I've ever had was from basketball. I took part in the junior games last year. I enjoyed it because it was the most professional set of matches I've ever played. I've been playing for about a year. I joined Storm in south London about six months ago. It's a wheelchair basketball team. It's for anyone who wants to play basketball.

Properly organised games are also good because there are professionals who will tell you about what goes on in your local area.

I've just finished my exams. I've only just joined my school so I did them in physics, maths, chemistry and biology. Maths was hard. But I didn't get stressed about it. I can retake them at any time so I'm not bothered really.

I don't always hand in my homework on time. There should be a three strikes policy like that school on the news so that if you don't do your homework three times you get suspended for two days. It's a good idea from an educational point of view. I do okay but I'd do better if pushed.

Nothing's going to come of not doing it. Young people understand in the long term, but in the short term they'd rather watch TV. The short-term need is stronger.
