My life: Micheal, 16, London

1 min read
The support I got from most of my teachers was quite good. They were trying to help me get good grades. You know there is a point where they try and help you. Some people don't take that seriously and miss things.

It's not been as difficult for me at school because I stand up formyself. If teachers start shouting at the entire class I don't take itto heart. I like going to school rather than staying at home, which isboring.

(Micheal's mum says: "Things have been easier for Micheal. He hasfollowed his brothers and sisters so he was prepared. He's had thesupport that you get if you know the system.")

My brothers and sisters don't necessarily tell me, I just listened orspied on them. When I was first going to secondary school it felt like abig, giant place. It wasn't that big. On the first day they said, "youare going to get lost". I never got lost. I like learning a lot. Ihaven't thought past A-levels yet. I'm doing history, physics, government and politics and I should be doing maths. I was doing theintermediate paper and got a very high B so I should be able to do themaths course.
