Help from: The National Pyramid Trust

The National Pyramid Trust aims to help primary school children fulfil their potential by building "self-esteem and resilience".

The trust runs clubs for children across the UK in conjunction withmulti-agency partnerships. The goal is to help children make friends andincrease their sense of "emotional and social competence andwellbeing".

The trust has a three-stage programme for use in primary schools. First, children with significant social or emotional difficulties areidentified. Second, a solution is found for the child's problems.

Third, a pyramid club is created consisting of around nine or tenchildren.

The clubs meet once a week after school for 10 weeks.
