Children are often referred by specialists in their community, such as occupational therapists, or by their parents. Its Conductive Education Centre is approved by the Department for Education and Skills as an independent school for children with physical disabilities.
The trust runs a full-time nursery and a school group for children aged three to seven. At any one time it offers a maximum of 45 places.
"Some of the little ones probably come for only one hour a week, while the three parent and child groups come for two-and-a-half-hours per session," says Kath Hewson, the trust's head of administration.
The majority of children it sees are from the Greater London area.
