Help From: Youth Sport Trust

The Youth Sport Trust, a registered charity established in 1994, works to support the education and development of young people through physical education and sport.

It is involved in government initiatives on sport such as the school sport co-ordinators programme, which aims to improve after-school sport and inter-school competition.

It also runs an affiliation scheme for designated sports colleges.

The charity disseminates good practice on school sport through an intranet for specialist sports colleges and school sport partnerships.

And it has developed a series of linked schemes to support sport and activity for children aged from 18 months to 18 years, as well as those who are disabled.

The Youth Sport Trust also develops projects in partnership with businesses that provide funding.
