The conception rate in the south London borough has fallen steadily by34.3 per cent since figures were first collected for the strategy in1998. The increase represents 31 fewer girls conceiving. In 1998, 135girls got pregnant but in 2005 this number fell to 104. To developbetter sex and relationships education, the borough has developed anetwork of practitioners able to support delivery of the subject.
