The conception rate in the London borough has fallen by almost halfsince the figures for the strategy were first collected. The drop of46.8 per cent represents 42 fewer girls conceiving. In 1998, 104 girlsfell pregnant, but in 2005, this number had fallen to 62. However, thislevel has fluctuated during the intervening years, rising to almost itsoriginal rate in 2003.
