German workers visit North Tyneside

Youth workers from Germany have visited North Tyneside as part of an ongoing cultural exchange to share examples of best practice.

Staff from Mobile Jugendarbeit Leipzig's youth and social services departments recently spent time in the borough finding out more about the work of North Tyneside Council's integrated youth support service (IYSS).

As part of the week-long exchange, the group visited North Tyneside Primary Care Trust's One to One sexual health centre to get a better insight into the support available to help young people make informed decisions about their sexual health and wellbeing.
