I have few memories of my time before coming to live with my adopted parents. But being adopted is not something that I think about often. I am too busy living my life.
Joe and Anna, my siblings, don't remember anything from before as they were too young. My mother tells me I was quite the little mummy, taking care of my brother and sister and trying to make sure that they didn't do anything wrong.
Even though my mum and dad aren't my birth parents, we are very much a real family. Keeping us together as a threesome has been really important as we'll always have each other. I don't feel any different to my friends and would say to anyone about to be adopted or thinking about adopting children, that it will all work out well.
