Young people in Redditch create a youth shelter

Young people in Redditch have been working with Worcestershire County Council to create a youth shelter.

The group of 20 young people worked with the county council's youth support service and Redditch Borough Council after coming up with the plan. They approached detached youth workers in the area with their idea and were pointed in the right direction for funding. The young people received a £2,500 grant for the shelter as part of the county council's grant-giving scheme, Funding Lots of Super Stuff (Floss).
