Workplace: Who's in your meetings? - Andrez Harriott, volunteermentor, Reset

What do you do? I am a musician and volunteer mentor for Reset, which is a two-year project part-funded by the European Social Fund that helps young offenders with their resettlement needs. It's led by Rainer, the national charity for under-supported young people.

What was the highlight of the past week? Working with and helpingchildren who present challenging behaviour.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? Going home and knowingthat my job gives me both personal and spiritual satisfaction.

What is the hardest aspect of your job? Learning how to develop patienceand understanding.

What is the toughest decision you have had to take during your career?Deciding whether to follow my dreams or perhaps be more realistic andtake a position that does not interest me as much but pays more.

What other departments or organisations do you work with? I work closelywith one of Reset's resettlement workers and also the project'smentoring co-ordinator.
