Workplace: Who's in your meetings?

What do you do? My job is to raise awareness of refugee issues acrossall of Centrepoint's services. My main aim is to empower young refugeesto achieve their full potential and create a common sense ofbelonging.

What was the highlight of the week? I was busy making bail arrangementsfor a young person detained under immigration rules. It involved someanxious moments but the result was positive and the young person wasreleased on bail.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? The face-to-face workwith young refugees. Seeing them tackle big hurdles along with theday-to-day challenges of life is really rewarding.

What is the hardest aspect of your job? Finding time to give everythingthe attention it deserves as well as finding the appropriate legalhelp.
