Workplace: Who's in your Meetings?

1 min read
Lisa Jones, development worker, DreamScheme, Stoke-on-Trent

What exactly do you do?

I set up and support DreamScheme groups in Stoke-on-Trent. DreamSchemes works with young people aged eight and above who take part in community activities such as environmental clean-ups, art works and conservation. For every hour they take part, young people get points that go towards trips of their choice. These can include visits to theme parks, water parks or camping.

Describe a typical day.

There's no such thing as a typical day. Every day is different. I could be attending meetings at potential new groups, visiting groups to see if there's anything they need, or if they need funding or training.
