What does it mean: Multi-systemic therapy (MST) is a family and community-based treatment programme for young people with complex clinical, social, and educational problems. MST therapists work in partnership with the young person's family and community to strengthen protective factors known to reduce the risk of future offending and antisocial behaviour. MST services are already running at two sites in the UK and the government has committed £17.5m to pilot the programme at a further 10 sites.
How to use it: Visit the Cabinet Office's website for details of the government-funded pilots
