Work Wise: Funding briefs

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and British Nuclear Fuels have launched a 500,000 scholarship fund to bankroll student research into reducing accidental deaths and injuries. Email rbibbings@rospa.com.

Scottish charity Move On has landed a £200,000 Big Lottery Fund grant to help more than 400 care leavers access training, employment, education and volunteering opportunities.

Arsenal Football Club has raised £280,000 for autism education charity TreeHouse. The money will pay for sports facilities at the charity's National Centre for Autism Education, which is currently being built.

Futurebuilders has given £1.45m towards arts charity Theatre Resource's work with children. The cash will help it develop a national centre for disability arts.
