Last year, Respect gave grants to an environmental clean-up in Lewisham, a faith communities conference in Waltham Forest, and to multi-faith workshops and an art exhibition in Toxteth, Liverpool.
Applications are welcomed from youth workers and young people aged 14 to 25, representing two or more faiths, or a non-faith group.
The project can be a one-off community-volunteering event or a long-term project to promote tolerance.
"We're encouraging people to get to know each other," said a spokeswoman for TimeBank. "Faith communities live side by side, but may know very little about each other. Volunteering together helps to break down the barriers." For a registration pack, or to make contact with other faith groups with a view to making a joint application, visit www.time bank.org.uk.
