Funding watch: Grant Programme for Inter Faith Week 2013

1 min read Funding
The Grant Programme for Inter Faith Week is a small grants scheme for events organised by and for young people in connection with Inter Faith Week. The event, which runs from 17 to 23 November, is designed to build good relations and working partnerships between people
of different faiths through events such as talks, workshops, sports
activities and community action.

How much is available? The grant programme is administered by the Inter Faith Youth Trust, which will be awarding small grants of between £200 and £500.

What will it fund? Grants are awarded for proposals for inter-faith activities by children and young people from all faiths, as well as those of no formal faith. Proposals should aim to improve understanding and co-operation. Applications are welcome from young people aged from 11 to 25. Priority will be given to projects which:

Actively involve young people in planning, running and evaluating the project.

Promote positive action that brings young people from different backgrounds together to address shared problems.
