The National Youth Agency: Inter Faith Week aims to strengthen neighbourhoods and relationships

1 min read
The National Youth Agency is supporting Inter Faith Week, which takes place between 15 and 21 November this year.

The week aims to strengthen inter-faith relations at all levels; to increase awareness of the different faith communities in the UK, in particular celebrating and building on the contribution that their members make to their neighbourhoods and to wider society; and to increase understanding between people of religious and non-religious belief.

There is a small grant programme for organisations wishing to take part in projects for the week. The Inter Faith Youth Trust is offering grants from £200 to £500 for projects taking place in and around Inter Faith Week. Projects must involve young people of different faiths or provide learning about different faiths and beliefs. The deadline for applications is 2 October. To apply or for more information go to www.ifyouthtrust.co.uk.
