The Inter Faith Youth Trust, working with the Inter Faith Network and the Department for Communities, is distributing grants of £200 to £500 for projects taking place in and around Inter Faith Week (15-21 November 2009).
Projects that receive funding must involve young people of different faiths or provide learning about different faiths and beliefs.
Bhupinder Singh, honorary secretary of the Inter Faith Youth Trust, said: "Here is a great opportunity for young people to explore different faiths and traditions. For example, they could join another faith group for a celebration of worship, organise an interfaith table tennis competition or set up an interfaith blog. We are looking forward to hearing about and funding some creative and interesting ideas."
