What will it fund? Capacity building and inter-faith activity. The former is designed to strengthen the organisational capabilities of faith groups and enable them to play a part in civil society and community cohesion.
The inter-faith activity priority seeks to support programmes that bring different faiths together to promote understanding, respect and co-operation. Activities may include training programmes for joint activities or those that enable groups to engage more effectively with public bodies.
Proposals that have a significant focus on young people or women will be given particular consideration. The fund will not support the promotion of any particular religious doctrine or regular religious worship.
