The charity awarded grants of between 1,000 and 6,000 to 10 voluntary and community groups in the Isle of Dogs and South Poplar.
Events will include a range of fun days, outings, workshops and sporting activities.
Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre will receive 2,000 towards its annual Youth Afloat programme, which gives young people from the area a chance to try sailing, dragon boating, canoeing and windsurfing.
Youth club the Alpha Grove Centre will put its 3,000 towards a mix of estate-based events and day trips to attractions such as the London Eye, the British Museum and the London Aquarium.
George Green's School is to get 6,000 to run badminton, football, netball, trampoline and mixed games sessions.
