Roger Morgan, the new director of children's rights at the Commission for Social Care Inspection, which takes over in April from the National Care Standards Commission, said children would vote on aspects of services, awarding their stamp of approval to institutions and services that did well.
Morgan, currently in the same role at the National Care Standards Commission, also pledged that children's voices would be at the heart of inspection processes carried out by the new unified social care inspectorate.
