Seeds of Change: Garden opens at Devon children's centre

Mia Hair enjoys watering flowers in the new garden at the Sure Start children's centre for Ilfracombe, Combe Martin and Berrynarbor.

She was attending the Stay and Play event on 21 February, which was the first chance children have had to get out in the garden since its completion. Others played in the sand tray and rode around on tricycles. The purpose-built children's centre, which opened last November, is run by charity NCH.
