The seeds of change: Devon's first children's centre opens

Children help to plant a tree to commemorate the opening of the first children's centre in Devon. The centre will offer services to 500 families with children in Ilfracombe, Combe Martin and Berrynarbor.

The Ilfracombe building will be the main campus for the centre, but there are plans to build a satellite nursery in Combe Martin too. More than 200 local residents and representatives of children's agencies attended the centre's official opening.
