Resources: Funding focus - Local Network Fund

1 min read

What will it fund? Activities run by locally managed groups for the benefit of young people facing disadvantage or poverty. The activity must address either economic disadvantage, isolation and access, giving children and young people a voice and a chance to contribute to policies and services, or help raise their aspirations through new experiences. Examples in each of these categories might be a project to set up a savings and financial literacy course for young people, computer software designed for visually impaired young people, a drugs peer education programme, or a holiday project giving inner-city young people a chance to experience rural life.
