Resources: Funding focus - Young People's Fund - England

1 min read

Who can apply? Not-for profit, community-led organisations, including partnerships between such groups and statutory bodies. The fund will support projects for young people aged 11 to 18, or up to 25 where projects are supporting disadvantaged young people having difficulty in making the transition to adult life. Projects must either bring disadvantaged young people together with other young people, or raise awareness of disadvantage. Young people must have been consulted about the project and be involved in its running.

What will it fund? "Activities and facilities" that meet at least two of the fund's five priorities, which are the same as those in the Government's Every Child Matters agenda - being healthy, staying safe, enjoying and achieving (also the theme of Youth Work Week 2005), making a positive contribution and economic wellbeing.
