How did you get into this? Before this, I was a volunteer for Voluntary Service Overseas and was an English teacher in Rwanda. When I was there, I became a bit disillusioned with big non-governmental organisations and saw that small organisations working directly with young people in small places do work. I wanted to work in London and saw this organisation as one that works at a grassroots level.

What's the most fulfilling aspect of the job? Successful matches. Both the older and younger people get a lot more out of it than just learning how to send an email. It's about two people from different generations learning from each other.
