A children's commissioner? There's going to be one of those in England now isn't there? Aye, to the relief of a coalition of 130 children and young people's organisations that have campaigned for over a decade to bring it about. The green paper Every Child Matters confirmed the creation of the post but there's not a great deal more information yet.
So this report might provide a few pointers? Quite probably, though the point is that the Welsh commissioner has a fair degree of autonomy to develop the service independently of government, and the hope is the English one will too.
