I think that they take too long to help people who have been robbed or have other problems because they have to go to the big crimes first, like the stabbing of the woman jogging in Clissold Park.
For example, I used to live on an estate with really bad people on it and there was a phone number for a community police officer but he was never there.
If I were in charge, I would have more police walking around the streets and estates and hire more people in the stations to answer the phones.
I would have zero tolerance - that means fining or arresting people for the little crimes too, like graffiti, litter and robbers. The police should go to high schools and make friends with the teenagers before they get tough and turn violent.
