WHEN DID YOU FIRST MEET?
Kerrie: "Jason was referred to our Access course by Barnardo's in August 2006. He should have been studying his GCSEs but he'd been asked to leave by his school. He was under 16 at the time so he was placed on the course, which gives students not in education the chance to gain qualifications."
Jason: "I didn't fit in at school and started taking advantage. My attitude was poor and I didn't turn up to some lessons. When I was told about the Fairbridge project it sounded interesting and that's when I met Kerrie."
