NCB Now: Young people have their say on the BBC

Children and young people - including over 20 Young NCB members - had a chance to air their views about the BBC and what it does at a consultation day held at London Zoo on 6 April, attended by Culture Minister Tessa Jowell.

The event, Your BBC, Your Say, was organised by NCB on behalf of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

The young people, aged between eight and 16, were asked a range of questions, including how much TV they watch, how often they use BBC websites, how we can make sure the BBC listens to the public and how they thought the BBC portrayed children and young people.

Three Young NCB members acted as facilitators for the event, along with staff from NCB's Participation Unit.
